The term development can cover a variety of meanings, whether you are looking to improve your home, add value to a property for resale, or undertake a new build; we aim to cover the main information required in this section.

In order to do this effectively we have split it into three topics – Home Improvement, Renovation and New Build. With a section for Health and Safety aimed at everyone. The most important factor for all three is ensuring you are allowed to undertake the work that you intend to. We cannot stress enough the importance of knowing the regulations involved in any work you are planning, and checking what possibilities there are with the local authority regarding planning permission where appropriate.
